Treasure Cay

Treasure Cay, located on the eastern coast of Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas, is a picturesque resort community renowned for its stunning natural beauty and rich history. The area boasts a pristine 3.5-mile stretch of powdery white sand beach, consistently ranked among the world's best, offering visitors an idyllic setting for sunbathing, swimming, and beachcombing.


Historically known as Sand Bank Cays, Treasure Cay was first settled by British Loyalists in 1783, who established the town of Carleton. Although the original settlement was short-lived, the area experienced a renaissance in the 1950s when local visionary Leonard Thompson initiated the development of a resort community, capitalizing on the region's natural allure. Today,
